NPC PATIENT RELEASE I-131 CALCULATION
This program is intended as a mathematical aid only. The requirements of NRC regulation 10 CFR 35.75 or equivalent state regulation must be met prior to the release of any patient.
This program calculates the dose to other individuals from a patient who was administered a dosage of 131I sodium iodide. The procedure is described in NUREG-1556, Vol. 9, Ver. 2, 2008. The default values are those proposed in the Regulatory Guide. If patient-specific values have been measured, those values should be used below.
